How does your music compare?

From each full album, the engine identified the most acoustically cohesive tracks — the ones that would form the strongest release together.

When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

Billie Eilish

4 of 14 tracks

Bad Guy, My Strange Addiction, Bury A Friend and You Should See Me In A Crown share a distinctive low-register intimacy — whispered vocals over dark, minimal production. My Strange Addiction sits at the centre of this set, the track where the sonic identity is most clearly defined. These four represent the album's most internally consistent quadrant, distinct from the more maximalist moments elsewhere.

70%

Californication

Red Hot Chili Peppers

4 of 15 tracks

Other Side, Road Trippin', Californication and Scar Tissue are the album's reflective core — acoustically they share a stripped-back, atmospheric quality that separates them from the record's harder rock moments. Scar Tissue anchors the set with the most consistent spectral profile of the four. At 73%, this is one of the stronger cohesion scores — these tracks genuinely speak the same sonic language.

73%

good kid, m.A.A.d city

Kendrick Lamar

4 of 17 tracks

Black Boy Fly, Good Kid, The Recipe and Compton share the album's most spacious, atmospheric production — all four sit in a similar sonic register defined by wide mixes and understated percussion. Compton acts as the gravitational centre, the track the other three orbit around in the similarity matrix. The 17-track album has significant sonic range; these four represent its most unified thread.

65%

Currents

Tame Impala

4 of 12 tracks

New Person Same Old Mistakes, The Moment, Eventually and Reality in Motion share Currents' mid-tempo psychedelic-pop core — layered synths, consistent groove, similar spectral density. Eventually is both the central moment and the weakest fit, which tells you how tight the other three are. A 63% score on an album this deliberately varied is a meaningful result.

63%

IGOR

Tyler, the Creator

4 of 12 tracks

IGOR'S THEME, I THINK, NEW MAGIC WAND and WHAT'S GOOD share the album's most consistent soulful, dense production palette. I THINK is the clearest expression of this set's identity — the track the others align around. IGOR was designed to be deliberately eclectic, so 59% reflects genuine cohesion within an album built on contrast.

Questions

Is my music private?

Your audio is uploaded securely over HTTPS and processed in memory. Files are never stored or shared.

How is the cohesion score calculated?

The engine extracts acoustic features from each track — tempo, timbre, spectral character and rhythm — and calculates similarity across every possible combination. The score reflects how strongly your tracks share a sonic identity. Higher scores mean a more unified release.

What audio formats are supported?

MP3, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, M4A and OGG. WAV and FLAC give the most accurate results as they are lossless formats.

How long does analysis take?

Analysis typically completes in under a minute depending on track count and file size.

Why is analysis taking a while?

The engine runs real acoustic analysis on every possible combination of your tracks — not a basic similarity check. For 8 tracks that's hundreds of combinations tested against tempo, timbre, spectral character and rhythm. Analysis typically takes 1-3 minutes. It's worth the wait.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

The analysis engine is identical. Pro gives you more tracks, more control over the results, and more tools to act on them. Free is genuinely useful. Pro is for artists who release regularly.

What's a good cohesion score?

Most professional releases score between 40-70%. A lower score doesn't mean bad music — it means your tracks have distinct characters. The engine finds the strongest combination regardless of the overall score.
